Research on the use of manure for better purposes then use as fertilizer has been directed for many years. The high amount of unwanted minerals to the agricultural land is the main course of this issue. Typical ways of the treatment of manure is drying and creation of a kind of pallets.
BPS will try to make the manure available as a slurry, so that it can be treated as a liquid feedstock for the gasifier. Big benefits due to the low OPEX can be expected that way as the price of the feedstock can be highly reduced.
BPS wants to come in contact with manure treating entities to explore this idea to create a slurry suitable for the gasifier of the bio-methanol plant.
